Michele Romano Recipes is pleased to share this incredible baked cauliflower recipe with you! One of my favorite healthy Italian side dishes for sure. I served this cheesy delight with a spicey Italian sausage creation I made up for some guests the other night. Wow, talk about Pizzazz! They loved it!! No leftovers on that occasion.
I adopted and adapted my baked cauliflower recipe from an old Italian cookbook that was given to my father. If you are like me, you are always on the lookout for new (or old, but new to me) creative side dishes, rather than just plain old boiled or steamed vegetables, rice and potatoes. Baked cauliflower Italiano is a unique and very healthy side dish to any dinner. Steak, pork chops, chicken you name it. If you are vegetarian, the combination with beans, rice, or pasta will be splendid as well! Children will even devour their veggies when baked cauliflower is put on the table!
