An outstanding recipe for spareribs complete with fresh green Romano Beans and sauce. Back ribs that melt in your mouth. Slowly baked in oil and spices, then simmered in my homemade sauce until they are tender and juicy. The matchless taste of the ribs and the lightly cooked fresh green Romano beans in sauce is indescribable! All together in one sauce and served over the pasta of your choice, spaghetti squash, or homemade polenta!
If you have previously read anything that I have written about the incredible Romano beans, you know that I could go on and on about them. (Please see Romano Bean Story). Unlike any other green bean, Romano beans are succulent, meaty and you can never get your fill of them, no matter which way they are cooked! That is why I am so thrilled to be able to can them and enjoy Romano bean dishes all winter long! Like I always say, I wish Romano beans were available fresh in markets and stores to everyone when they are in season. However, this is not yet the case so you can substitute a fresh green bean in place of the Romano beans in this recipe.
Note:I love cooking with coconut oil, using it whenever and wherever I can. It is so healthy for you!
