Italian Wine Cookies

What could be more fitting than some good old fashioned Italian wine cookies following an awesome authentic Italian Dinner. Image: Italian Wine cookies Suits me just fine, wine while I cook dinner, wine with dinner, more wine for dessert and wine in my dessert... makes a chubby little Italian woman very happy! And giddy too. Lol. My husband says he didn't know they had named a cookie after me! I'm not quite sure what he meant by that? I'll just have to assume he was paying me a compliment as he thinks I'm so sweet!

I found this beloved Italian wine cookie recipe in a very old Italian cookbook that was handed down to my father. It also included an exquisite collection of various other authentic Italian cookie and dessert recipes from the Mediterranean, some of which you will discover on my website.

Italian wine cookies make a perfect ending to a beautiful meal. Share some cookies and laughter while you sip on some cappuccino or a yummy Italian tea infused with amaretto and whip cream. (You might want to make an alternative dessert for your children!)
