Michele Romano's Classic Italian Dessert Recipes

Your fantasies can come true with Michele Romano's incredible ITALIAN DESSERT RECIPES!

May I suggest the best Tiramisu recipe on the planet or perhaps a piece of Creamy Dreamy Pumpkin Cheesecake? Satisfy those desires deep within, it's alright.

Remember, you don't have to give up on desserts if you are watching your weight or just plain health conscious. Dessert does not have to be fattening or unhealthy. You just need to make the some right decisions regarding the ingredients used.

Healthy Substitutes I like to Incorporate Into My Italian Dessert Recipes

  • Honey instead of sugar
  • Coconut oil mixed with half butter
  • Healthy spices such as cinnamon, all spice, nutmeg
  • Free range eggs
  • Organic cane sugar (I always cut sugar way down)
  • Mix whole wheat flour with unbleached
  • Use organic soy milk or almond milk verses regular milk
  • Add some organic plain yogurt to your muffin, biscuits, or cake recipes.
  • Go gluten free! (I will have a gluten free section up soon.)

Whenever I think about these luscious Italian desserts recipes, I want to break into song, "O sole mio, sta 'nfronte a te!" See I told you. Maybe I should just stick to my day job...lol, Michele Romano Recipes. By the way, the English translation of those familiar Italian lyrics are, "all the sunshine I need is in your face." Beautiful.

Every authentic Italian meal is a unique experience from start to finish. That is of course, when Italian dessert recipes step up onto the plate. (In a manner of speaking, lol) This is always the perfect ending to every beautiful meal. Often times a wonderful fruit and Italian cheese platter is all you may have room for, (which is most times for me!) or maybe an exquisite ricotta cheese filled cannoli with a snifter of fine Port. Pamper yourself and loved ones with the best Tiramisu ever, feel the passion with every bite of Italian lemon cheesecake, or the smooth creamy texture of my Apple Cream Lasagna, or try a slice of glorious Italian Walnut Rolls made to perfection. I'm getting hungry! I better stop now but you don't have too. Mangia.
